I am a South African expat living in Zagreb. Originating from Cape Town, South Africa, I have always been connected to nature through the ocean and the mountain and hiking trails that surrounded me.
 
After living in four European countries, Croatia, and particularly Zagreb, has become a solid foundation for my adventurous spirit. Alongside my wife, a Croatian philosophy professor and certified tourist guide, and our inquisitive five-year-old daughter, Sofia, we have found ourselves deeply captivated by the blend of nature and city life in this remarkable locale.

Welcome to our website! My name is Suzana, and I come from the picturesque island of Hvar. I have been involved in my family’s tourism business for my entire life, where I have had the pleasure of welcoming tourists from all over the world. This experience has given me a profound appreciation for diverse cultures and experiences.
 
My love for reading and exploring different worldviews led me to pursue a degree in Philosophy at the University of Zadar. For the past seven years, I have been teaching philosophy at a gymnasium in Zagreb. I find great joy in encouraging my students to question and explore the world around them.
 
I live with my husband, who is from South Africa, and our wonderful daughter, Sofia. Together, we enjoy exploring the vibrant city and the beautiful surrounding nature. We also treasure our visits to my island, where family and tradition always hold a special place in our hearts. Aside from teaching, I am a certified tourist guide for Zagreb and Dalmatia. It is my dream to merge my two passions—education and tourism—by inviting you to join me on inspiring walks through the city.
 
Together, we will immerse ourselves in the lively atmosphere while uncovering rich history, culture, and art, all while connecting these experiences to the big ideas that shape our world.
